We’re delighted to be supporting the Thames Valley Adventure Playground (TVAP) this year.
Based close to us in Maidenhead, the TVAP is a charity offering adventurous, therapeutic and educational play activities for children and adults with all types of ability.
TVAP also offers opportunities for vital respite breaks, that support families and carers as well as the loved one they care for.
Barbara Cooke, our Founder and MD went to visit TVAP and was very excited to see for herself the inspiring work they are doing for local adults and young people:

40th Anniversary Appeal
It’s a great time to be involved with TVAP – this year they are celebrating their 40th anniversary.
In 1982, the playground opened to just 12 children, today 15,000 visitors benefit every year from the play activities.
Recycled flip flips provide playground resurfacing
Our connection with TVAP isn’t limited to fundraising. Through our new flip flop recycling initiative, we’re enabling recycled rubber for playground resurfacing.
From our processes to our products, we’re committed to running our business in the most environmentally friendly way possible. Our flip flop scheme is just part of our wider sustainability strategy.
We’re working with Exclusive Hotels Collection to ensure that none of their discarded flip flops reach landfill. To achieve this, eco waste management specialists collect and recycle discarded flip flops, they are then repurposed for playground resurfacing and other long-term uses.
